Orange Shirt Sunday is Coming Soon!
Orange Shirt Sunday is on September 27th this year. The Sunday before the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (September 30) is a time for us to remember and honour Indigenous children who were taken from their communities and families to residential institutions. We invite everyone to wear an orange shirt to show their compassion for the survivors of the Indian Residential Schools and to say that every child matters.

A Song of Faith – A Song of Faith, adopted in 2006, seeks to provide a verbal picture of what The United Church of Canada understands its faith to be in the historical, political, social, and theological context of the early 21st century. It is also a means of ongoing reflection and an invitation for the church to live out its convictions in relation to the world in which we live. Please click here to view (and/or download) this important literature.
