New Vision United Church is an inclusive, diverse community of Christian faith that encourages the gifts and graces of all people. We are committed to pursuing our ministry through loving God and actively sharing with our neighbours.
New Vision gatherings are hybrid; both in-person and online.
We gather at 10:30 am Sundays on Zoom and in our lower hall at 24 Main W.
The World Health Organization has declared that the COVID-19 pandemic has ended. We no longer ask people to mask to be part of our worship gathering; however, very much know that we remain mask friendly!
We strongly encourage vaccination, but know that there are barriers for some people and we desire not to create more.
New Vision is discovering what God is doing in Hamilton’s urban core and participating. We believe that justice for persons experiencing marginalization is fundamental to the creation of an inclusive beloved community. Out worship is experiential, participation, image rich and collective. Our ministry is intercultural and affirming.
New Vision United Church began in 2014.
New Vision Statement of Inclusion:
We affirm the inclusion of people of every ability, income level, age, race, family type, gender identity and sexual orientation in the ministry, leadership and life of this congregation. We celebrate the gifts and graces of all.
