New Vision United Church is an inclusive, diverse community of Christian faith that encourages the gifts and graces of all people. We are committed to pursuing our ministry through loving God and actively sharing with our neighbours.
New Vision United Church has moved all worship gatherings on-line.
We gather at 10:30 am Sundays on Zoom. On July 11 we opened our Lower Hall for group participation in our on-line worship gatherings and are now following Provincial Step 3 protocols for social distancing. Up to 25 of us may gather in our lower hall for worship.

“A condo tower of up to 25 storeys — and no affordable units — is what it would take to restore St. Giles United Church, once on the path to destruction.
“But the team behind a plan to redevelop the site of the former church at 85 Holton Ave. S. says it doesn’t want the condos.
‘Our goal here is to build safe, stable housing for all,’ Tim Blair, CEO of the United Property Resource Corporation (UPRC), told a virtual forum Thursday.”

New Vision is discovering what God is doing in Hamilton’s urban core and participating. We believe that justice for persons experiencing marginalization is fundamental to the creation of an inclusive beloved community. Out worship is experiential, participation, image rich and collective. Our ministry is intercultural and affirming.
New Vision United Church began in 2014.
New Vision Statement of Inclusion:
We affirm the inclusion of people of every ability, income level, age, race, family type, gender identity and sexual orientation in the ministry, leadership and life of this congregation. We celebrate the gifts and graces of all.
A New Vision Church…
- a multi-generational congregation feeding the spiritual needs of the people
- a church responsible in stewardship, spending energy and dollars on ministry instead of buildings
- honouring and growing from congregational identities and usable history
- committed to offering social justice and outreach ministry seven days a week…creating a tipping point for an inclusive and affirming ministry
